Sonya M. Junkins

Sonya Junkins is an Enrolled Agent in MendenFreiman's tax controversy practice area. Sonya's primary work includes assisting attorneys and clients with the preparation of lien discharges, offers in compromise, installment agreements and other tax controversy related matters at the state and federal levels. She also assists with various business and probate matters, including LLC formations and estate administration.

Sonya was admitted to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent in 2021 and has been working in the field of tax controversy since 2014. Along with the partners in the tax practice group, she joined MendenFreiman in 2019.

In her free time, Sonya enjoys spending time at the beach, attending local community festivals, watching science fiction films and television, and taking road trips to visit friends and loved ones.
