Nathan Long is an Associate Attorney in MendenFreiman's
Tax Practice Group. His background includes tax controversy, fiduciary matters,
probate and estate administration, and litigation.
Before joining MendenFreiman, Nathan practiced with
Willis McKenzie LLP, where he represented healthcare entities and practitioners
in medical malpractice litigation in Georgia state and federal courts. He
previously worked with Andrew, Merritt, Reilly & Smith LLP, providing

His work included preparing offers in compromise and amended tax returns and
negotiating installment agreements.
Nathan earned his J.D. from Georgia State University
College of Law, where he received the Catherine Henson Scholarship, served as a
Virginia and Kelly Smith Fellow, and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in
the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. He earned his B.A. in Finance,

Outside of the office, Nathan is a fitness and nutrition
enthusiast, Georgia Bulldogs fan, coffee lover, and, in his own words, a
"faulty golfer."
