Christopher A. (Chris) Jones is an Associate Attorney in MendenFreiman's Private Wealth and Trusts & Estates Group. His practice includes estate planning, probate and trust administration, tax controversy, and related business matters.
Chris brings nearly a decade of legal experience spanning estate planning, tax controversy, corporate transactions, and litigation. Before joining MendenFreiman, he founded and led C.A. Jones Law, PLLC in Virginia, where he advised individuals, families, and closely held businesses on estate planning, business transactions, and tax matters. His experience also includes representing taxpayers in federal and state tax controversy matters.
Earlier in his career, Chris served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Virginia, where he prosecuted criminal matters and advised law enforcement on legal issues. His varied legal background gives him a practical perspective when helping clients address estate planning, business, tax, and fiduciary matters.
Originally from Virginia, Chris recently relocated to the Atlanta area with his wife, two daughters, and son.
