MendenFreiman LLP is pleased to announce that Loraine M. DiSalvo has joined the firm as a Partner in its Private Wealth and Trusts & Estates Practice Group.
Loraine brings nearly three decades of experience advising individuals and families on estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, tax planning, charitable gift planning, business succession planning, and estate and trust dispute resolution. She has particular experience helping clients navigate complex family, fiduciary, and wealth-transfer matters, including the distinct planning needs of blended and nontraditional families.
Prior to joining MendenFreiman, Loraine was a partner at Morgan & DiSalvo, P.C., an Alpharetta-based law firm focused on estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, tax planning, and related private wealth matters.
Loraine has held numerous leadership positions within Atlanta's legal community. She previously served as President of the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia and as Chair of the Atlanta Bar Association's Estate Planning & Probate Section. She remains active in these organizations and maintains additional affiliations with the American Bar Association, Atlanta Estate Planning Council, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, Stonewall Bar Association, and the Professional Women's Information Network.
Throughout her career, Loraine has earned sustained recognition for excellence in the trusts and estates field, including recognition by Best Lawyers® since 2023 and selection to Georgia Super Lawyers from 2013 through 2026, as well as Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent® peer review designation and a 10.0 Superb score from Avvo.
Loraine earned her J.D., with distinction, from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. in History, cum laude, from Georgia State University. She has been admitted to practice in Georgia since 1997.
